Here are the rankings for the S.C. Prep Football Media Poll released Tuesday, Nov. 5. First-place votes and the team records are in parentheses. Teams bolded are new teams in the rankings for this week and arrows up and down show which teams moved up and down from last week.

The rankings held up well through the first round of the playoffs. Warren knocking off Palatine was the only mild surprise and that represented a trend. The North Suburban conference, which had four teams popping in and out of the rankings all season, had a great first round.
