Mexico told the the U.S. government it will not allow Mexican migrants to be sent to the Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, detention camp, the country's foreign minister said.

The first flight carrying migrants to Guantanamo Bay arrived Tuesday evening, a U.S. Transportation Command official said.

Illegal immigrants detained by ICE are set to be held at Guantanamo Bay following an announcement by President Trump last week.
