Jewelry valued at about $30,000 was stolen in a burglary of NBA star Luka Doncic's home on Dec. 27, according to a local news report.

Doncic, 25, who is from Slovenia, is the sixth known pro athlete in the U.S. whose home was burglarized since October. Star NFL quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City and Joe Burrow of Cincinnati are among them, along with Mahomes’ tight end, Travis Kelce.

The break-in at Doncic’s Dallas-area residence follows similar incidents at the homes of NBA and NFL stars such as Jaylen Brown, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.

Kyrie Irving has been downgraded to out for the team’s final game of 2024 because of right shoulder soreness. Monday’s game marks Irving’s fourth absence of the season because of right shoulder soreness. Dallas is 1-2 in games without Irving.
