A new wildfire was reported today at 6:58 p.m. in Riverside County. Chambers Fire has been burning on private land. There is currently no information on the containment or cause of the fire.

The Scout fire was burning near Mission Boulevard and Crestmore Road in Jurupa Valley, and a second fire was burning in Hemet near Warren Road and Esplanade Avenue.

Clay Fire initially started today at 5 p.m. in Riverside County. After being active for six hours, it has burned 38.5 acres. As of Tuesday evening, 40% of the fire was brought under containment by a crew of 165 firefighters. The cause of it remains under investigation.
