Another strong cold front will push into the Midstate Sunday afternoon and evening bringing scattered showers and storms back into the Midstate. All of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky have been placed in an early outlook for the risk of strong to severe thunderstorm late Sunday and early Sunday night.

Slight Risk is already in effect for areas north of and along I-20. Strong storms are expected Sunday night into Monday morning. The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail, but we’ll keep monitoring the situation as Sunday approaches.
