Series, an iOS photo app that helps you lay out your photos in creative ways for posting on social media, is the must-have companion app for users posting their photos to Instagram Threads.

Called Layout, it is the second app that Facebook-owned Instagram has released. Last August, it came out with Hyperlapse, which lets users create time-lapse videos to share on Instagram.

Instagram Choose images from your Camera Roll or take a selfie series with Layout’s Photo Booth feature. When you open the app, you don’t have to sign in.

Instagram followed that approach with Hyperlapse, the time-lapse photo app it introduced last August. And now it’s doing the same with Layout, a free smartphone app for creating photo collages.
