After serving as University of Delaware’s Director Athletics and Campus Recreation for nine years, Chrissi Rawak is stepping down from her role to become the chief executive officer of USA Swimming, effective March 14.

USA Swimming named University of Delaware athletic director Chrissi Rawak as its new CEO and president on Wednesday. Rawak fills a role previously held by Tim Hinchey, who left the governing body of one of the biggest Olympic sports shortly after last year's Paris Games.
