Rep. Jason Crow says he jumped into action when he heard reports that a military base in his district was going to be used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in mass deportations.

After a visit to Buckley Space Force Base on Monday, U.S. Rep. Jason Crow told reporters he was assured by federal officials there that there are “no plans” to use the sprawling military installation east of Aurora for the detention of undocumented immigrants.
