Entering Saturday afternoon's road bout against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-6, 1-2 ACC), UNC basketball graduate guard RJ Davis needed only three points to leapfrog former four-year teammate Armando Bacot at No. 2 on the program's all-time scoring list.

After an 8-6 start to the season for North Carolina and a 7-5 finish in their non-conference schedule, the Tar Heels turned their attention today to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the next opponent at the start of their ACC schedule.

In its final nonconference game of the regular season, North Carolina handled in-state foe Campbell at the Smith Center, while RJ Davis set a scoring mark for the Tar Heels.
