From Seattle and Austin to Chicago and Washington, D.C., marchers have chanted slogans, carried signs against ICE and snarled traffic through downtown avenues and outside federal offices.

The protests have entered their fifth day, with violence and arson taking place across Los Angeles. The LA Mayor and California Governor previously stated there was no need for the deployment of troops and that the police and sheriffs could have controlled the protests.
