Those go for around $100 less than what Apple charges for an official screen replacement but now, it’s started offering LCD replacement for iPhone X, XS, and XS Max.

The replacement LCD is listed for $49.99 on their website and the touch panel is listed for $39.99 and the tools are included in the cost.

First was a free replacement. Second would have been $200 for out of warranty repair, so I bought a new LCD on ebay for $23 and fixed it myself. Pretty simple to do with the 3G/3GS.

Apple’s LCD model, iPhone SE, which launched last year, will use LCD panels by JDI and Sharp instead. LG Display had previously attempted to supply LCD for the 2019-model iPhone SE but failed.
