Star-studded 2014 RoboCop remake should be a sleeker ride than its 1987 predecessor, yet it clanks where it ought to purr. It’s a clear case of overthinking and under-delivering an idea.

The first full trailer for the 2014 remake of Robocop has hit the Internet, and the reaction has been, what’s that word? The opposite of good? Oh, yes: bad. It’s bad. People didn’t like it.

Despite a cast that included Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, and Samuel L. Jackson, the 2014 remake of RoboCop couldn't reach the same level of success as the original.
