Haas began offering its online option last year, along with New York University’s Stern School of Business, which also offered a similar online experience in its part-time MBA program.

In its first year, Accelerated Access drew around 150 applicants from inside the university, says Eric Askins, Haas admissions director. About 20 will matriculate to the full-time MBA program.

Afterwards, according to Haas’ website, candidates can attend elective courses in person or opt to continue learning remotely. The degree program is set to span three years.
