Google is at least trying to fix the areas where people point out the terrible terms of its repair program, though it would be nice if the parts store could offer parts at a reasonable price.

Google has partnered with iFixit to sell genuine replacement parts and repair kits for the Pixel Fold, so that you can fix your $1,800 foldable phone at home.

Source: iFixit Moreover, these parts should be available online through 2030. That’s because, back in October 2023, Google promised to deliver seven years of software updates for the Pixel 8 series.

Batteries, replacement displays, cameras and other parts will be available individually or in iFixit kits, which include tools needed to perform the repairs, Google said.

Google teamed up with iFixit in mid-2022 to give you access to authentic components that you can use to repair Pixel phones. Now, it seems like the two parties have expanded their partnership.
