In the early 1800s, pioneer families worked together on farms, learning essential agricultural skills from a young age. Children helped with chores, such as gathering eggs and feeding animals.

Nearly 300 children and parents visited the Children’s Storybook Garden and Museum on Saturday morning to celebrate agriculture during the attraction's third annual Farm Day.
