Dollar Tree announced Thursday that it has appointed legal expert John S. Mitchell as its new chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

Leiken, who'd been CLO two years, will hand the legal reins to John Mitchell Jr., who joined Dollar Tree as senior deputy general counsel in 2021 and before that was a partner at Williams Mullen.
