New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is happy with how his recovery from last season's knee injury is progressing. At his introductory press conference with the franchise, Diggs said that he is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from a torn ACL that ended his 2024 season.
The former All-Pro receiver still isn't happy with how things ended with the Buffalo Bills and is looking for revenge.
Noted Texans scribe John McClain wrote last year that Diggs was determined to prove people wrong. He wanted to shake the diva label. Listening to the veteran wideout’s introductory press conference with the Patriots on Friday, it appears Diggs is on a similar path.
Diggs brings 10 years of NFL experience to the Patriots and gives Maye, the third pick in the 2024 draft, a receiving option that recorded six consecutive 1,000-plus yard seasons before that streak ended in 2024. Dating back to 2020, Diggs has 5,868 receiving yards, which ranks sixth in the NFL, and 40 touchdowns, which ranks seventh.

The years of Stefon Diggs being one of the most prolific receivers in the NFL have probably passed. But the 31-year-old believes he still has plenty to offer as he prepares to embark on his latest stop with the New England Patriots.
Diggs will be joining a wide receiver room with Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, and former Bills wideout Mack Hollins, who left the team in free agency after his lone season in Buffalo where he hauled in 31 catches for 378 yards and five touchdowns, as well as an additional 104 yards and one touchdowns in the playoffs.
