The cap blocks at the top of the wall are showing the worst deterioration. These blocks are less than 15 years old and the builder assured me they’d last at least 100 years.

The razor-thin concrete roof prototype was the culmination of a four-year research project by ETH Zürich, and will lead to the completion of a rooftop apartment unit called HiLo.
