Congenital heart disease (CHD) Awareness Week takes place every year from February 7-14, to raise awareness about the most common birth defect in Canada.

Every baby born at a MercyOne facility in February will receive a red hat in honor of Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week. The awareness week runs Friday, Feb. 7 to Feb. 14.
