After Google Calendar users noticed that the tech giant removed Black History Month from its list of holidays, they were incensed.

Google has caused a stir as several notable events are removed from its calendar. Last week, some eagle-eyed users noticed that some occasions were now absent from the Google Calendar, including Black History Month and Women’s History Month.

Why is Black History Month in February? The commemoration of important Black Americans and events happens largely during the shortest month of the year.
