Syracuse, N.Y. — Tonight’s opening night performance of “TINA — The Tina Turner Musical” at the Landmark Theatre has been rescheduled to Sunday due to an “unexpected illness” of someone in the cast.
In celebration of one of Turner's most beloved albums, previously unreleased music is coming out of the vault.
"Hot For You Baby," a new and unheard track from the late Tina Turner will appear on a 40th anniversary release of 'Private Dancer.'
“A song which essentially expresses one idea — 'hot for you, baby’ — was a little monochromatic for her,” said Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Anthony DeCurtis. “The rest of the stuff that’s on Private Dancer is much more nuanced.”
The song, recorded for inclusion on Turner's hit album Private Dancer, was recently uncovered.

A lost song from Tina Turner’s 1984 album Private Dancer has been found. The track, “Hot for You, Baby,” premiered this morning on the BBC’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show, marking its first public play.
