Two new senators were sworn in on Tuesday to replace new Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance.

U.S. Sen. Rick Scott is backing Vivek Ramaswamy’s latest political move. Florida’s senior Senator endorsed the former presidential candidate’s expected bid for Governor of Ohio.

James Ross Wightman, 65, a resident of glamorous Miami Beach, voted in both local and national elections in 2022, 2023, and 2024 before being arrested in Miami Beach Friday, according to a release from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. It’s not clear who the elderly man voted for.
