In a bold statement, Patriots legend Julian Edelman took a direct shot at Mike Tomlin following the Steelers' elimination from the playoffs.

In a closed-door press conference with the Pittsburgh media, Steelers owner and president Art Rooney II continued to show his support of head coach Mike Tomlin. (Rooney does it every year like this, yet fans blasted him for making it hush-hush and not streaming it live like Tomlin’s weekly pressers.)

Edelman talked about Tomlin and his defense on his podcast noting that what the Steelers are doing today on defense is the same things they were doing when Edelman played against them as a member of the Patriots.

The Pittsburgh Steelers never hide the positions they target in the NFL Draft, and 2025 appears to be no different. Pittsburgh is focusing heavily on the defensive line, and on Wednesday, they huddled in on a new position -- wide receiver.
