The 14-time Grammy winner joined Andy Samberg onstage Friday at Radio City Music Hall for SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, where they began performing her A Star Is Born track “Shallow” before deciding to do a selection more in Samberg’s “vocal range.”
“SNL” also announced this week that comedian Shane Gillis will host the March 1 episode, with pop singer Tate McRae serving as musical guest.

NEW YORK (AP) — “Saturday Night Live” will follow up its 50th anniversary celebrations with new shows and some familiar faces — Lady Gaga doing double duty as musical guest and host, and an episode hosted by Shane Gillis with Tate McRae performing.
Andy Samberg, Lady Gaga, Eddie Vedder, Bad Bunny, Chris Parnell, T-Pain, and others offered a medley of "Dick in a Box" and more.
Although Justin Timberlake was the original pop star featured in the SNL bit, Lady Gaga had no problem stepping in to belt out the not safe for work lyrics. Supporters across X (formerly Twitter) are raving about the duet. “Nature is healing,” wrote one user.
