Mike Bianco and the Ole Miss Rebels will return to action on Friday night for a Southeastern Conference clash against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Bianco and Co. will look to start the series off on the right foot with ace Hunter Elliott set to take the mound in Swayze Field.

Vanderbilt baseball relief ace Sawyer Hawks is out for the series opener against Ole Miss on April 25, according to the SEC's pregame availability report. Tim Corbin said on the pregame radio broadcast that Hawks would have to leave Oxford early due to his grandmother's funeral and the team did not feel comfortable with the timing of having him pitch in the opener.
