On Friday, the face of Ganesha, an elephant god, was covered with mask during Chaturthi celebrations in Rajkot. A banner was also installed asking visitors to don a mask to avoid H1N1 virus.

Raj was pictured wearing a full-face glass mask as he carried the idol to their home. He folded his hands before Lord Ganesha and took blessings in another picture.

The exhibit for the month of September, 2022 – Ganesha – A Chhau Mask of Folk Community from Purulia, West Bangal, is on display in the indoor exhibition building–Veethi Sankul.
