Luka Doncic's first six months with the Los Angeles Lakers were more than enough to give him a vision of a glittering long-term future with his new team.

After signing a three-year, $165 million extension with the Lakers, Luka Doncic said he is ready to start his pursuit of what so many franchise greats have done in L.A. before him: winning championships.

This contract locks Doncic in with Los Angeles until he reaches 10 years in the league, at which point he can sign a larger deal.
