On Twitter Friday night, “Infinity War” directors Joe and Anthony Russo fielded a fan question about Red Skull (Ross Marquand), and kind of implied we might be getting more of him in the future.

The Red Skull, a.k.a. Johann Schmidt, was the head of HYDRA back during World War II, of course, and the chief nemesis of Captain America in his debut movie, The First Avenger.

It seems unlikely Red Skull would return, given the fact he has served his purpose as the gatekeeper in Infinity war. The small cameo was a huge surprise, but who knows what the future will be for ...
