In the Legends comic Star Wars: Republic #71, written by John Ostrander, Anakin gets his scar while engaged in a lightsaber battle with Count Dooku's Sith assassin, Asajj Ventress.

Richard also revealed that his co-star got a face scar while filming the action-packed thriller. "Citadel" debuts on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
