Floor-length curtains are a little more forgiving as there's no "rule" as to how long they should be depending on your taste, but if you're unsure, aim for 1cm above the floor.
Traditionally, curtains stop about one half inch above the floor. This is an ideal height, taking advantage of the material's length, but allowing space for sweeping and vacuuming.
That said, curtains that just kiss the floor add a sense of elegance to any room. "That barely-there touch creates a polished, tailored look that still feels warm and inviting," Gruver says.
