Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja is set to make himself available for Ranji Trophy matches, playing for Saurashtra against Delhi. Meanwhile, Bengal opener Abhimanyu Easwaran is out for three weeks due to a finger injury.

This website reported on Saturday that Jadeja will confirm his availability or otherwise on Sunday. Jadeja last played a Ranji game in January 2023 when he led Saurashtra against Tamil Nadu in Chennai. That game, in fact, was a test game for his match fitness as he was returning after a knee injury, before the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023.

After captain Rohit Sharma confirmed his availability to play Mumbai's Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir, Ravindra Jadeja has given the green light to play for Saurashtra against Delhi in the next round of the domestic tournament,

" Varun Chakaravarthy is picking up wickets one after the other. He has done well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy also. He took a five-wicket haul against Rajasthan and has been continuously doing well. Since he has returned to the Indian T20I team, he has been picking up wickets every single time," Chopra said in a video on his YouTube channel.

Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has joined Saurashtra's training camp for the second leg of the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy. The all-rounder is likely to play the upcoming match against Rishabh Pant's Delhi on January 23.
