Rwanda is starting a Marburg vaccine trial on health workers as the country fights an outbreak of the Ebola-like virus that has a fatality rate as high as 88 per cent.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in a statement said that passengers who have in Rwanda in the last 21 days will be screened for symptoms of Marburg virus. It is an illness that has a fatality ratio of up to 88% but can be much lower with good patient care.
