FRANKFORT, Ky. (WBKO)—The state is now accepting applications for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) from people in 11 counties who were unemployed due to severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides on Feb. 14.

The death toll from Kentucky’s severe weather beginning Feb. 14 has continued to rise. On Tuesday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced another storm-related death, bringing the total loss of life in Kentucky from 22 to 23.
