In a new post, it’s been revealed that Apple is working on a 200MP camera upgrade for the iPhone. There’s no specific model mentioned, so it’s unknown when the camera change might arrive.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, alongside the more affordable 17 and 17 Air, are all expected to get a brand new 24MP TrueDepth camera. The current front-facing camera is 12MP, and has been for years.

Interestingly, Apple relied on a 12MP f/2.2 TrueDepth camera going as far back as the iPhone 11 Pro — only to slightly improve it to a faster f/1.9 aperture starting with the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
