Apple first added the Action button to the two Pro models of the iPhone 15 series -- the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max -- and now it's on the entire iPhone 16 series.

According to internal documents, the Action button will offer a force sensor that will detect changes in pressure. There will also be a tact-switching functionality, but it’s unclear what that means.

Right now, my Action Button opens my iPhone 15 Pro Max camera, but I will soon use my iPhone 16 Pro (desert titanium, of course) Camera Control for that. I hope.
