Harvard’s law school admission didn’t just drop. A decline in Black first-year undergraduate students at the Boston-based school also fell to 14% from 18% in 2023.

In 1965, Harvard Law School saw 15 Black students in its graduating class. Harvard Law School welcomed its lowest number of Black students this fall since the 1960s, according to the New York Times.

After a Supreme Court decision ended race-based admissions, some law schools saw a decline in Black and Hispanic students entering this fall. Harvard appeared to have the steepest drop.
