EXCLUSIVE: Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton and Albert Jones are being promoted to series regulars for the upcoming third season of Netflix ‘s The Night Agent, Deadline can reveal.

Fola Evans-Akingbola (Chelsea Arrington), Ward Horton (Governor Richard Hagan), and Albert Jones (Aiden Mosley) have all been upped to series regulars for Season 3, Netflix announced on January 31.

Agent gears up for its third season, Netflix has confirmed that three cast members will be promoted to series regulars. Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton, and Albert Jones will join lead actor Gabriel Basso in the latest chapter of the action-packed political thriller.

Fola Evans-Akingbola, who plays Chelsea Arrington, is returning for season 3 after she was missing on screen in the most recent installment. Creator Shawn Ryan confirmed Evans-Akingbola’s return after season 2 only brought back lead Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan. Most of the additional cast members didn’t appear at all.

Now, it has been confirmed that Evans-Akingbola's cameo wasn't just a one-off scene, but was intended to set up a bigger return for her character in the already announced third season.
