Hurricane Milton becomes a major hurricane; Florida braces for impact this week

The storm became a category three hurricane in the south Gulf on Monday morning. The trough and cold front that arrives in the northern Gulf early this week will steer Milton into Florida. Milton is expected to make landfall on the west coast of the Florida Peninsula as a major hurricane by late Wednesday or early Thursday.
