Xiaomi will launch a SIM card that also works as a microSD. In recent years we have seen many mobiles, especially high-end ones, which have reached the market without a microSD card slot.

Either way, the change brings parity to Apple's latest ‌iPad‌ models and its iPhone, which dropped the physical SIM slot in 2022 with the launch of the ‌iPhone‌ 14.
