“Model railroading is about creating a small world with trains — it’s a fun, creative, and rewarding hobby,” said Stumme. “And it’s never truly finished.

They said it’s a great way to pass the time and gives them something to do in retirement. "I just like coming on and working hands-on with projects," said Goch, a 60-year old grandfather.
