After much wringing of hands over Adrianne Palicki’s Wonder Woman costume, NBC has decided to pass on the superhero TV series, according to E! News.

Adrianne Palicki, who played Mockingbird in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series, played Wonder Woman in an NBC pilot.

The Wonder Woman character would make the successful leap to the small screen in 1975 when Lynda Carter took up the mantle of the DC Comics superhero. That incarnation ran for three seasons on ABC.
