Today, his appointment has been made official, as he takes over a side that just lost their best player to Arsenal and that, as seems to be the case every summer, has question marks around recruitment.

Liverpool Women have named Gareth Taylor as their new head coach. The club confirmed Taylor’s appointment on Friday after The Athletic reported on July 9 the former Manchester City head coach was in talks over the role.
