Among Microsoft Windows 7’s features, a taskbar overhaul is arguably the feature in Microsoft ‘s upcoming OS that has aroused the most interest.

This was fine for a while until I ran out of space for applications in the taskbar. I used 7 Taskbar Tweaker to ungroup each window from their application so I could order them as I pleased.

One of the nicest features about the Windows 7 taskbar is the way it combines all of an application’s windows into a single icon. Point to that icon, and up come thumbnails of the various Windows.

Fortunately, I’ve discovered the awesome Windows 7 Taskbar Thumbnail Customizer 1.1 (W7TTC for short), a free utility that lets you make thumbnails just about any size you want.
