A parcel of land in Whatcom County is at the center of an animal-abuse investigation after a search on Thursday turned up 84 dead turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks.

The map was built using data imported from the Whatcom County Tax Parcel Viewer website. It is searchable by address, parcel number, property management company or landlord.

"Whatcom County's parcel search map is about the worst in the state," said McShane, whose profession has him working directly with many counties in Washington.
