A third former Indiana men's basketball player has alleged a team doctor sexually abused him in a lawsuit. John Flowers joins former players Haris Mujezinovic and Charlie Miller in a class-action lawsuit against the Indiana University Trustees.

John Flowers joins players Haris Mujezinovic and Charlie Miller in an amended class-action lawsuit against the IU Trustees and current team trainer Tim Garl.

An amended lawsuit filed Tuesday claims Tim Garl, trainer of IU's mens basketball team, allegedly knew of and allowed sexual abuse to continue against players at the hands of a team physician.

In a Herald-Times article from 2016, members of the men’s basketball team refuted former IU basketball player Todd Jadlow’s allegations of abuse by former head coach Bob Knight. Jadlow made accusations that Knight grabbed his groin during a game against Syracuse University in 1988 in his book “Jadlow: One The Rebound.”

A third former Indiana University basketball player has alleged in a lawsuit that the team doctor sexually abused him and the school did nothing to protect him from a predator.

The lawsuit has been expanded to bring claims for alleged federal constitutional violations against Indiana University's long-time head trainer for the men’s basketball program.
