Donald Trump’s post endorsing Sydney Sweeney’s ad helped boost American Eagle stock more than 16%, according to reports.

The spot, with the actress Sydney Sweeney, is the “HOTTEST ad out there,” Trump said in a social media post. He added American Eagle jeans are “flying off the shelves.” Trump deleted an earlier post, in which the actress’ first name was misspelled

American Eagle stock popped 24% Monday after Trump posted that he loved the company's jeans ad featuring Sydney Sweeney as the face of the brand.
