Tropical Storm Dalila formed in the North Pacific Ocean Friday morning Mexico Central Time, according to the National Hurricane Center. The tropical storm had sustained wind speeds of 40 miles per hour.

There is an 80 percent chance that a tropical storm will form in the Eastern Pacific within the next seven days.

The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Dalila has formed in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The cyclone is centered Friday south of southwestern Mexico, about 205 miles south of Zihuatanejo.
