Despite showing some prowess in Transformers: The Movie, Megatron is mostly shown losing to Optimus Prime, who triumphs in their battles, forcing Megatron to retreat.

Transformers: Prime had Megatron outright ripping the arm off of another Transformer, with this character actually being a deep cut from the comics.
