In Cher's new memoir, ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One,’ out Nov. 19, she recalls a bruised Tina Turner once asking for advice on how to leave her "abusive" husband Ike Turner.

Cher got her own solo show after she broke up with her husband Sonny Bono. Similar to Tina, Cher also had issues during her marriage as she accused him of emotional abuse in their divorce proceedings.
