The NFL has had the ability to flex Thursday night games since 2023, and after two seasons, the league is thinking about tweaking the flex scheduling rules for that night of the week.
In a 26-6 vote, NFL owners agreed the flexing window for Thursday Night Football games will be reduced to 21 days.
NFL owners on Monday approved flexing Sunday games to Thursday night with 21 days' notice. Previously, 28 days' notice was needed.
